“Conservation has been a cornerstone of the American way of life for generations. From our astounding national parks to local city and county parks, we must continue to preserve and protect our natural environment. The Rose Creek Watershed is an example of our coming together, our commitment, our hard work, to preserve a local natural treasure for the benefit of current and future generations of San Diegans.”

San Diego County Supervisor Pam Slater-Price

It is the actions of everyday people that make a difference in the world – and in the Rose Creek Watershed. It is those special people – in neighborhoods across San Diego – that take time out of their lives to get involved to improve their communities, through steps both small and large. All those actions make a difference.

The Rose Creek Watershed has been the beneficiary of a number of wonderful people and organizations that saw its potential and have stepped up to help preserve it.

“We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.”

Marian Wright Edelman
