The primary funding for the Rose Creek Watershed Opportunities Assessment is from Proposition 40, the California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks, and Coastal Protection Act, approved by California voters in 2002. The California Coastal Conservancy, part of the California Resources Agency, is overseeing the distribution of those funds. The Coastal Conservancy has provided funding to help develop the Rose Creek Watershed Opportunities Assessment and has played a critical role in advising and directing the development of the project.
